Why I Started This Blog and What I Hope it Becomes
First time here, not a writer.
Somewhere back in 2024, I was scrolling through different apps looking for natural and holistic skincare, tired from using different harsh, chemical-laden and prescription-grade skincare products suggested by the dermatologists. There was something I didn’t liked or I was fully satisfied with; may be the podcast ultimately referring to chemical products or the experiences which felt unreal. And somewhere juggling between listening to and reading from different apps, I put my phone face-down on the table and just sat there.
Something about that moment felt confusing and frustrated at the same time. Having read from and listened to information from multiple sources, I felt I had access to more information than I required. More skincare dos and don’ts, more DIYs, many suggestions from the dermatologists. Yet I felt completely disconnected and dissatisfied with everything I had and I did.
This blog is not about having the right answers only. I am not an expert in any of these areas. I am someone who is paying attention and will be writing down what I have felt, will feel and notice. This blog is personal for me in the truest sense-personal as in mine and personal for the people reading it. I want every article from here to feel a piece from someone who thought carefully about something and then sat down to tell you what I found and experienced.
I will not be writing about skincare only. This blog will focus on sustainability, holistic lifestyle approaches, physical fitness, mental wellbeing, fashion and lifestyle and why certain trends feel like they are settling us with something we don’t need. I’ll share opinions and also try to earn them.
I am writing this for person who feels lost like I once did, in between different apps scrolling through numerous articles and opinion pieces. For those who are trapped in between trends. For those who want to live life like it truly belongs to them. And this might be you. I’m glad you are here.
